Reaping the Benefits

Last fall I learned how to make and can apple sauce and butter from our very own apples.


Today, it is nearly gone and it has been delicious.

Wow, nice job making it last so long! I guess that's why you do it, but I feel like we'd end up eating our home-canned foods way faster, if I ever even got around to learning how, that is :).

We definately had an ebb and flow, where we ate a lot then didn't for a while.

Yum! I'm certain I'll see more of those full canning jars come this fall.
