Fiber Arts Friday: Just a Little

Since I finished the Plumber Sweater and had the yarn shortage on my other project, I haven't been feeling very fiber-y.

I don't think it's a bad thing.  It's just part of the natural ebb and flow of creativity.  We can't always be on or working.  Our bodies and brains need a break sometimes.  So I only have a small bit of spinning to share this week.

I bet everyone else has a lot more to share since it's Fiber Arts Friday over at Wisdom Begins in Wonder.

I agree with the giving your brain a rest. It happens that we need this sometimes..like sleeping 12 hours last night!
I love browns and blues together. This is going to make a beautiful skein of yarn.

It's just as fun and relaxing sometimes to just think about knitting or spinning!

There's nothing wrong with taking a fiber break.

I second that!
Sometimes it's good not to have a specific project. That's what I love about spinning.

I love the colors.

Happy Fiber Arts Friday!

Sometimes life needs to be about quality and not quantity. Your spinning looks lovely and I know your brain is thanking you for the little respite. Happy Fiber Arts Friday!

Hi Kathryn! Thank you so much for your lovely comment!
I'm so happy for you getting a puppy soon! You'll have a exiting time ahead! I love to see your photos with alpacas and other animals and all the lovely yarn you make! I would love to go for a walk with beautiful alpaca!
And...your jeans story was good! I know how you feel...haven't got good pair for a long time. My first were Wrangler and from the next town because then we didn't have any 'real Jeans' in my small town! Nice memories!
Have a lovely weekend! Teje
