Fiber Arts Friday: Wingspan, part 6

A few rows while waiting at the DMV, a few more while waiting at the airport, a few more on a couple of long car rids and a little bit more here and there... and I have 5 1/2 of 8 wedges completed.

... only one more than last time.  Darn it, I thought I had made more progress than that.  At this rate Maybe I'll be finished in January.  ;-)

Happy Fiber Arts Friday!

That how I knit too, a little here and there when I have time out and about. When I am home I spin yarn when I have a bit of time.

Nice to see the knitting progress!

I really enjoyed reading your previous post, about how your life had changed in the past four years. I hope one day you won't have to count on the day job to support your dream. Hope to see your line of alpaca yarn at Stitches and other events, then I can tell everyone, "I knew her when ..."

Love the colour! I like to tell myself that projects like this need to be finished by Winter. I try not to specify which Winter though...!

LOL Clare - good point since I have woken up to snow for each of the last 2 days. ;-)

I love the wingspan! It is on my list, I just need to find that perfect yarn. But I will enjoy looking!!!

Hooray for still working at it. It must be harder because you are only using one color which means little change. It's going to be stunning when you have it finished. In the words of What about Bob, "Baby steps"

I think this pattern looks really good with long color changes, but I do like the subtle changes in my current colorway. I'm hoping it will be a very refined accent to winter gear. :-)
