London

Well, we're not going to London.  :-(

Hubba had good performances at the Trials this past weekend, but it was tough competition.

The full Paralympic Track and Field Team Roster is here and includes Hubba's training partner, Christina Schwab.  Christina (then Ripp) was a member of the Gold Medal Women's Basketball Team at the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.

So when the Olympics are over, I hope you will spend some time on Paralympic.org to see what the Paralympians are doing... August 29 - September 9.

And, if you're so inclined send a note to NBC Sports and the US Olympic and Paralympic Committees.  Ask them to give the Paralympic Team the coverage they deserve.  These people have worked as hard and made the same sacrifices as the Olympians and have equally inspiring stories.  :-)

Bummer! I'm sorry Brad didn't make it. I hope the team that did makes a really good showing!

Well he went...good going to try out. Best to you both for future events.

Sorry for the less-than-desired result, but be happy about the process (and I do know that's small comfort!).

Sorry he didn't win at Trials. I was rooting for him. I will check out the website as it gets closer to the games and see coverage updates...and contact NBC.

Tell him that he is an amazing athlete and he has fans from all over the fiber world.

Oh what a shame he didn't get through but I know he will be watching at home cheering his team mates on. Australia is a sporting made nation and we usually get pretty good coverage of the Paralympics, but never as complete as the Olympics.

Oops sorry that should read "Australia is a sporting MAD nation"

That's very funny... I read that as "Australia is a sporting mad nation." :-)

A friend of ours is on the Australian Marathon team. We'll be pulling for him to do well.

What a shame. the Aussie company I work for is a major sponsor of the Australian Para Olympic team so we get lots of updates.
